Born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, one of the only cities with a team in all four major sports leagues, I've always been a huge sports nerd. Growing up playing multiple sports, including basketball, soccer, and softball, I always knew I would end up in the sports industry one way or another.
I graduated from Grand Canyon University in December 2023. While attending GCU, I was extremely involved in the Athletics Department. During my freshman year, I was in Pep Band playing the trumpet. I attended many games and events that year, including traveling with the Men's Basketball team to Indiana to cheer them on at the school's first-ever March Madness appearance.
In June 2021 I joined the GCUTV team. I commentated Division I basketball, soccer, softball, and volleyball and also worked behind the scenes with all of the school's Division I sports. I also made and was in multiple videos on the GCU Athletics social media pages.
In May 2022, I began work with WAC Hoops Nation as an intern writing articles discussing Women's Basketball in the Western Athletic Conference. I also appeared in podcast episodes where we interviewed coaches and further discussed basketball in the WAC. I also assisted with the Instagram page.
In May 2023, I started a Game Day Communications Internship with the Phoenix Mercury. In this role, I interacted with media, team personnel, and family members primarily on gamedays to ensure everyone had correct credentials, stats information, and that press conferences and other communications went smoothly.
In February 2024, I joined the Fox Tech team in Tempe, AZ as a Full-Time Content Operator and later switched roles to Digital Operations Specialist for FoxOne. My job is to help ensure content such as broadcasts and key art are displayed on the Fox website, apps, and other channels properly and that livestreams and broadcasts run smoothly.
